My Creative Journey: From Graphic Design to Illustration
My career as a graphic designer started over 20 years ago, working on projects for the NHS and local businesses across Calderdale and West Yorkshire.
I love helping start-ups launch with confidence. I create everything from new logo designs and matching stationery to social media graphics and marketing materials.
Alongside graphic design, I've added custom watercolour illustrations, digital art commissions and surface pattern design. My patterns are available for licensing across home decor, wall art, fabrics, stationery, packaging and phone cases.
Inspired by Nature, Patterns, and Everyday Life
When I'm not working on client branding, my patterns and illustrations draw on my love of nature, my ever-growing garden and weekend trips away in our caravan. I also love experimenting with digital illustration, watercolours and gouache.
Now and then, a big occasion sparks something special. I designed a collection of commemorative patterns and a tea towel to mark the Coronation of King Charles III. After all, a British celebration isn't complete without the obligatory tea towel!
